Roundhouse Kit Purchases

Construction of Your Australian Roundhouses™ Kit

1. CHOOSE YOUR STUDIO SIZE & KIT OPTION

  • Select your preferred Studio Size – 4.2m, 5.1m, 6.1m or 8.4m
  • Choose your preferred kit option – Frame Kit, Lock Up Kit, B.A.L 19 ( NSW Bushfire Attack Level 19) see kit fact sheets for inclusions
  • Discuss additional extras available with the Australian Roundhouses™ team – i.e Alternative External Clad, Window Options – double glazing, alternative window size, awning, timber framed etc., Insulation/Internal Lining/Deck Frames etc.

2. PRELIMINARY PRICING

  • Australian Roundhouses™ will prepare a quote and email this together with a draft studio plan (not for construction purposes) to assist you in discussions with local authorities to determine whether your studio requires Council approval on your nominated site

As Council regulations vary from site to site, it is the responsibility of the purchaser to obtain all development consents, development approvals, and building permits that may be required by Law

  • Two free preliminary pricing requests are available to alter materials – with subsequent preliminary quotes available at $110 each

3. ACCEPTANCE OF PRICING/ PREPARATION OF CONTRACTS

  • Once kit options and pricing are confirmed – Australian Roundhouses™ will prepare a formal quotation and draft contract(s) for acceptance
  • Invoice for 10% deposit issued – this deposit secures a placement on our manufacture list
  • Studios not requiring Council approval – standard studio architectural drawings will be emailed to obtain exemption certificates where required
  • Studios requiring Council approval – site plan and customer contact details will be provided to our architect for preparation of site specific architectural plans

NOTE: Applications requiring BASIX/ Thermal Efficiency reports will incur an additional fee.  Price varies from project to project and will be provided in any formal quotation

4. COMMENCEMENT OF KIT MANUFACTURE

  • Studios not requiring Council approval – materials invoice issued -40% of project value is required prior to order of materials from our suppliers
  • Studios requiring Council approval -on receipt of Council approved plans – materials invoice issued -40% of project value is required prior to order of materials from our suppliers
  • Materials ordered on receipt of funds
  • Purchaser advised of estimated manufacture completion date
  • Manufacture commences on receipt of materials from suppliers

5. KIT MANUFACTURE COMPLETION

  • Purchaser advised approximately two weeks prior to manufacture completion
  • Final invoice issued – balance is required to be paid in full prior to collection of kit
  • Purchaser to provide transport operators details to Australian Roundhouses™

NOTE: Transport is usually negotiated and paid directly by the purchaser to the transport operator. Transport quotes can be obtained by Australian Roundhouses™ however often purchasers can receive considerable savings by contacting transport operators in their region who are looking for a back load  to fill a return trip

6. KIT COLLECTION

  • Collection of kit components is required within 7 days of completion date
  • Australian Roundhouses™ will liaise with your preferred transport operator to schedule delivery collection and advise the purchaser when their order has left the factory
