Based in Goulburn NSW, Australian Roundhouses™ is the only company licensed to market, manufacture and construct Vital Designs trademark protected Roundhouses™ building processes and designs in Australia.
On the retirement of the previous license holder in March 2018 (Goulburn Yurtworks), Bob and Robert Allan decided to continue their passion for these Yurt-style buildings and entered into an exclusive 20-year license agreement with Vital Designs.
It is Bob and Rob’s vision to continue to improve and modernise the designs, manufacture processes and construction methods whilst maintaining the traditional Mongolian Yurt or Australian Roundhouses™ design concept that makes ‘living in the round’ so appealing to many people all over Australia.
Australian Roundhouses™ kits are manufactured locally in Goulburn and transported Australia wide for construction by Licensed and/ or approved owner builders. Construction options are also available, either by the Australian Roundhouses™ team in NSW or by partnering with a local builder in your State or Territory.
