Based in Goulburn NSW, Australian Roundhouses Pty Ltd is the only company licensed to market, manufacture and construct Vital Designs trademark protected Roundhouse™ building processes and designs in Australia.
On the retirement of the previous license holder, Mike Shepherd – Director, Goulburn Yurtworks, Bob and Robert Allan continued their passion for these yurt-style frame-paneled round homes and studios and in March 2018 entered into an exclusive 20-year license agreement with Vital Designs.
It is Bob and Rob Allan’s vision to continue to modernise materials, processes and construction methods whilst maintaining the traditional Mongolian Yurt or Australian Roundhouse™ design concept that makes ‘living in the round’ so appealing to so many people all over Australia.
Roundhouse™ kits are manufactured locally in Goulburn and transported Australia-wide for construction by your preferred Licensed Builder. Construction options are also available, either by the Australian Roundhouse™ team in NSW or by partnering with a local builder in your State or Territory.
