The 12 sided 5.1m diameter Studio is an ideal size for an art studio, meditation room or teenage retreat.
With 20m² floor space, this studio is often used as the core for a guest room, secondary dwelling, bed & breakfast or farm stay. One of the key benefits of our modular design is that a Roundhouse Studio can be extended over time with annex kits available to provide additional rooms or a bathroom.
Depending on zoning of your property and purpose of the Studio, this design may require a complying, secondary or full development application to your local Council.
An Australian Roundhouse frame kit is cost effective and will allow you
to personalise your Studio features to the greatest degree. Increase sustainability or bushfire resistance levels with alternative construction
products and/or processes that can only be installed on site.

This website provides a number of design concepts which have been packaged to include standard Bushfire Attack Level 12 kit components and include preparation of architectural plans and engineer specifications for submission to Council.
There is a variety of kit upgrades available to choose from and a formal quote can be provided once we have discussed your kit options and any site specific information such as Bushfire Attack Level (BAL), snow load or wind rating requirements.
Many clients prefer to design their own floorplan and engage in our Design Consultation Package. This process provides you an on-site consultation with one of our design team members who will work together with you in creating a floorplan to suit your needs.
We will also discuss kit options and assembly processes with your builder to ensure we create a kit package that is most compatible to your on-site construction requirements.
