This project is the first Hempcrete construction in the 35 year history of the “Round House” in Australia. With a few minor engineering changes to support the Hemcrete process, snow loading and wind rating for the region, the Australian Roundhouses team were engaged to assemble frame kit components ready for JL Proudman Building to complete the Hemcrete and fit out process of the build. Beautifully designed by the owner with a focus on sustainability, “The Crookwell” concept has become a popular design for Australian Round House enthusiasts.
